How Documenso unlocked the ideal local development with Resend

We knew Resend was the right solution from the moment we signed up. You just can't find this level of support with other providers.

Document signing requires communication through every step of the process. From signature requests to document completion, email is the primary way our users can quickly and effectively move through their signing journey. This makes email a core infrastructure component of our business, so getting it right was critical.

We knew Resend was the right solution from the moment we signed up. No more complicated setup process or layers of approvals like we had experienced with other email APIs. With Resend, the setup process was very straightforward, which is exactly what I wanted. We verified our domains and were good to go within 30 minutes, with the majority of the time simply waiting for DNS to propagate.

Getting Resend into our code was just as easy. Their SDK worked seamlessly with our custom Nodemailer transport. With Resend, our local development is a dream.

Email providers of old make sending too complicated by bloating the APIs between transactional and marketing email use cases, requiring arbitrary template IDs and replacements. With Resend, the SDK is so intuitive, it feels like it was built by our own team. Not to mention React Email, which unlocked the ability to create stunning emails with a modern stack.

I would be devastated if we ever had to move off of Resend and say goodbye to the simplicity and masterfully designed interface.

Support has been amazing, with the founders reaching out directly to assist with setup, supporting early access to Resend back when it was invite only, and even participating in PRs when we had a bug. You just can't find this level of support with other providers.

Resend is a dead-simple, gorgeous email service made for developers.
