Emails serve as an initial touchpoint to our product, and a first step in the onboarding process for all of our users. These emails are important for fostering user engagement, facilitating collaboration within our customers' organizations, and driving adoption of the platform. It's amazing that we can easily customize the emails to reflect Braintrust's brand and trust the emails will reach their inboxes.
The best part about taking Resend into production was that there was no friction at all. The documentation is easy to follow, and has plenty of examples for all types of SDKs and architectures. Most of the work was done for us, and their React Email templating enabled us to design branded emails that are personalized and tailored to each user. When it came time to test sending the emails, we had no issues following the domain verification steps. Sending an email worked on the first try.
Without Resend in our stack, I would miss the customizability, as well as email monitoring with their dashboards. React Email makes it simple to customize the emails to our liking using a language we're familiar with, making them easy to maintain with minimal context switching.
The clean interface of the dashboard also allows us to easily keep track of our usage and monitor logs and deliverability of the emails. I have used other email services in the past, and maintaining the email templates in HTML/CSS without being certain that the emails would display as expected in even the most popular email clients was a headache, and those platforms felt outdated and clunky to use.
To make things even better, the support I received from the team was really quick and responsive. The only issue I ran into was creating two accounts, and unlinking my domain from my primary account. However, when I reached out to the team, they resolved it in minutes. Besides that, I didn't run into any other issues that required help, since the documentation was really straightforward to follow.
Resend is truly a developer-friendly email sending platform - it integrates seamlessly into the development process and takes care of all of the things you don't want to have to think about.
