Customer Support Engineer

As a technical product, Customer Support Engineers are critical to every step of the customer experience of Resend — from ongoing support to removing product friction.

You will be the expert on our products and the main point of contact between our engineers and developers (customers). You will spend your time communicating with developers, debugging issues, improving internal workflows, and creating developer-oriented content.

In this role you will...

  • Be the front-line of customer needs, answering customer questions, reproducing issues, and escalating bugs
  • Iterate internal workflows to improve the customer's (and internal team's) experience
  • Write and record content that answers customer question or demos use cases
  • Improve the product to better meet customer needs
  • Challenge the status quo to provide exceptionally frictionless experiences
  • Advocate for customers within the team by being outspoken and helpful
  • Lead customer escalations by communicating to customers during emergencies

You will be a great fit if you have...

  • 2-3 years of technical support or success experience
  • OR 3-5 years of engineering experience with customer-facing elements
  • Can handle and perform under customer pressure
  • Are fluent in writing and speaking English
  • You love helping solve problems for developers
  • Can consistently work in Americas timezone

You will be an exceptional fit if you also have...

  • Have experience with email or are excited to become an email expert
  • Have emotional intelligence to pick up on relational nuances and deescalate
  • Experienced in Node.js, React, and Serverless architecture
  • Writing or media creation experience (blog post, video, tutorial, podcast, etc.)
