How does enterprise pricing work?

Pricing is based on the volume and products in your Order Form, committed annually or multi-year and invoiced in advance, net 30. Usage above your committed volume is billed at the overage rate in the Order Form. See our pricing page for the self-serve plans, or ask us for a quote against your current provider’s invoice.

Can Resend sign our contract instead of yours?

Accepted Answer

Resend contracts on its own Enterprise Terms plus an Order Form. Negotiated changes live in the Order Form, and that is where redlines land. A purchase order or vendor-portal terms do not modify the agreement, even if we accept the PO for processing.

What uptime do you commit to, and what happens if you miss it?

Accepted Answer

The Enterprise Terms use commercially reasonable efforts to achieve 99.99% Email Sending Uptime per calendar month. If the target is missed, eligible customers may request a 5% to 50% service credit within 14 days, subject to the Terms. A chronic-outage termination right requires the notice, remediation, and follow-up conditions in Section 5.6. Full text is in the Enterprise Terms.

How fast will someone actually answer us?

The Enterprise Terms require commercially reasonable efforts to provide a human first response within one business day for tickets submitted through an Official Channel. In practice, 90% of urgent requests get a first reply in under 13 minutes. Enterprise Order Forms can add a dedicated Slack channel as an official support channel. How long does migrating off our current provider take?

It depends on your volume and how many systems send mail, but it is rarely the quarter-long project teams expect — Raycast left SendGrid and shipped their first send 30 minutes later, and Gumroad moved 100M emails with our team alongside them. Start with our migration guides, and we will build the cutover plan with you.

Can we run dedicated IPs?

Yes. Dedicated IPs are available on qualifying plans, and we handle the warmup schedule with you rather than handing you a spreadsheet. Raise it during your migration planning so warmup starts before cutover.

Where is our data stored?

Accepted Answer

Stored data is held in the United States. The region you pick when adding a domain controls where mail is sent from, not where it is stored. EU and UK transfers run on the Standard Contractual Clauses in the DPA. See the GDPR overview for the detail your privacy team will ask for.

How do we get a signed DPA and your SOC 2 report?

The DPA is pre-signed by Resend and fully executed when you sign up. Download the signed copy from Settings → Documents. The current SOC 2 Type II report is available through the dashboard under the confidentiality terms in the agreement. Start at the security overview.

Question 9

Which certifications do you hold today?

Accepted Answer

Resend holds SOC 2 Type II, audited by Vanta and Advantage Partners. GDPR is a legal compliance obligation supported by a signed DPA and Standard Contractual Clauses, not a certification. Resend does not hold an ISO 27001 certificate. HIPAA is in progress. Talk to us before planning a workload that involves it. Details are on the security page.

Who are your subprocessors, and will you tell us when they change?

The current list is on our subprocessors page, and we give at least 14 days’ notice before adding or replacing one, with an objection process described in the GDPR overview.
