Email systems are critical for any team, often containing sensitive data and acting as a gateway to other services through password resets and notifications. This is why securing access to these systems is crucial.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security by requiring two verification factors, significantly reducing the risk of unauthorized account access.

Adding MFA to your Resend account

To enable MFA, go to your Profile, and click on "Enable MFA".

From there, you can scan the QR code with your preferred Authenticator app and enter the code they provide. After that, you're all set.

Encouraging MFA in your team

We believe that MFA should be a standard practice for all teams.

To encourage users, we've added a new card in the Overview page and a list of who has enabled and who hasn't enabled MFA yet on the Team Settings page.

Looking ahead

One of the improvements we've already added to our roadmap is to enable admins to enforce MFA for all of their team's users. Our goal is to provide teams with the tools they need to enhance their security posture.
