# Retrieve Thread Email

> Retrieve a single message from a thread.

Thread](/docs/api-reference/inboxes/get-thread) returns inside `messages`.

## Path Parameters

  The Inbox ID.

  The Thread ID.
</ResendParamField>

  The Email ID, as returned in the thread's `messages[].id`.
